This blog is a learning experiment. It is place for all the students in Ms. Michalski and Mr. Davidson's American Studies class at ACE Academy to have their say about events occuring in the United States. Each week students will read news stories and respond with their feelings, thoughts, and ideas. Eveyone in our community will be invited to read and discuss what is posted here. LET THE BLOGGING COMMENCE!

what did both commercials say? how was mccain insulting obama? also when did you go to North Carolina?
McCain has a commercial saying Barack Obama is not ready to lead; I heard them too, but I forgot Barack's commercial. While Ivy made a point, they both want more votes. McCain thinks exploiting Barack's weaknesses is the way to go but I think that's not the way to go. For some people it convinces them to vote McCain but I doubt it will work. This could backfire because most voters think personality is important. One short commercial could cuase voters to switch to Barack.
Could you please use a bit more detail in your blog incl. what the commercials said? and how you think they are insulting?
That's called negative campaining, Ivy.
I agree, Ivy. McCain should spend more time talking about how to actually be a president than insulting the other party. It could even turn into a huge case of bragging and superiority. Also, Elizabeth, I don't mean to offend you, but your most recent comment sounded a little bit bad.
