Daniel - Tesla Motors might hold the Car of the Future

What makes the Tesla Roadster so special? There have been other battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in the past. The Tesla, I think, is the best BEV to date. It can can from 0 to 60 mph 4.0sec (as fast as a Porsche 911 Carrera S) and can travel over 240 miles on a single charge. The only problem? It currently costs $110-120,000.00! Maybe they will decrease in price when the make more and more of them? I sure hope that are they are the cars of the future.

The Tesla Roadster gets 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and costs roughly $99590 with sales tax. The price probably will not go down, It is a Supercar.

So, How do you know the price will go down? It is new technology and new technology always commands a higher price. As the technology becomes more mainstream, the price usually decreases, i.e., VCRs, DVD players, cell phones, computers and hybrid cars come to mind. In addition, the data you present is not much different from our data from Road and Track.

I'm sorry, I'm a car fan and I can't stand the slightest mistakes.

What mistakes? Road & Track is a reliable source.
Keep in mind that track testing can also vary from day to day.
Do you really want to argue about 3.9sec versus 4.0sec 0 to 60 times and a few thousand dollars difference in approximate costs?
I think the real point here is wether or not the price will come down in the future, no?
We are car fans too!
